Certainly, here's a basic pancake recipe for you:

Classic Pancake Recipe:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 3/4 cup buttermilk (or you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 3/4 cup milk and letting it sit for a few minutes)

- 1/4 cup milk

- 1 large egg

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- Cooking spray or additional butter for cooking

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, egg, and melted butter.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. It's okay if there are a few lumps in the batter.

4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.

5. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.

6. Carefully flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

7. Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and cover with a clean kitchen towel to keep warm while you cook the remaining pancakes.

8. Serve the pancakes warm with your choice of toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh berries, sliced bananas, or whipped cream.

This basic pancake recipe is versatile and can be customized by adding ingredients like chocolate chips, blueberries, or chopped nuts to the batter before cooking. Enjoy your homemade pancakes!
